LAN Fundamentals
This course teaches the basic concepts about local area networks (LANs). Basic information is presented about LAN components, like routers, gateways, and hubs.
Common LAN topologies and methodoligies are discussed. For example, you will see that Ethernet is the most commonly used LAN media. This course also introduces the complex process of LAN planning. It discusses key elements of the LAN development planning process, starting with the assessment of organizational needs.
