    Course Outline/Details

The Setting Up Naming Services course teaches you how to use the name service cache daemon, get naming service information, configure the DNS client and set up the LDAP client. It also teaches you about NIS fundamentals and how to configure the name service switch, configure NIS domains, build custom NIS maps, manage NIS with SMC, and troubleshoot NIS.
