Managing Virtual File Systems and Core Dumps

    Course Outline/Details

The Managing Virtual File Systems and Core Dumps course provides students with knowledge of virtual memory, how to configure swap space, and how to manage crash dump and core file behavior. It also teaches students how to manage Network File System (NFS) servers and clients, enable NFS server logging, manage NFS with the Solaris Management Console storage folder tools, and troubleshoot NFS errors. It also teaches students about AutoFS and how to use automount maps.
