Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) Software in a Distributed System

 Course Description
    Course Outline/Details

The J2EE Software in a Distributed System course provides students with the key components of the 'multi-tiered' Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) architecture and the Java technologies that are employed. Students will review the user interfaces available today, including handheld and web interfaces as well as the common Graphical User Interface (GUI) found in desktop clients. The web and business logic layers are reviewed in some depth and provide a framework for understanding how these layers are now being redeployed into Web Services. Finally students are presented with a rapid-fire review of J2EE system integration technologies.
