Sun ONE Studio 4, Community Edition Bundle

 Course Description
    Course Outline/Details

The Sun ONE Studio 4, Community Edition Bundle provides students with a collection of four web based training courses which introduce the features and benefits of the Sun Open Net Environment (ONE) Studio development tool for Java technology developers and program managers. The courses explain the standard user interface components and the function of various workspaces through a variety of demos, practice exercises, and self-check questions. The Sun ONE Studio development tool is a highly flexible environment and this series of courses explains how to customize the user interface by locating, installing, and automatically updating third-party modules. The courses also highlight how to utilize the resources available on the Sun ONE Studio Web portal. Students learn how to use the graphical user interface (GUI) to install a new module, auto-matically update modules, develop JavaServer Pages (JSP) products, and develop and customize JavaBeans products. Finally, students are introduced to the advanced features of the FJCE IDE, such as Java DataBase Connectivity (JDBC), distributed processing by using Remote Method Invocation (RMI) and Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI) Extensible Markup Language (XML) in Java, and internationalization.
