The Sun ONE Studio 4, Community Edition, Module Creation and Integration course is designed for the senior programmer who is well-versed in Java technology. The course provides a handbook along with a Web Learning Center (WLC) course. The handbook explains the concepts involved in the NetBeans[tm) open application programming interfaces (APIs). It also lists steps for using the NetBeans open APIs to extend the Sun ONE Studio 4 integrated development environment (IDE). Offering a full learning experience, the WLC course provides step-by-step procedures for using NetBeans open APIs to modify the functionality of the Sun ONE Studio 4 IDE.

Students need access to the Sun ONE Studio 4 IDE and NetBeans open application programming interfaces (APIs) to take this course.
