    Course Outline/Details

The Overview of Sun ONE Studio 4, Community Edition course briefly describes the Sun Open Net Environment (Sun ONE) Studio 4 product line and introduces the features of the Integrated Development Environment (IDE). In addition, this course explains the user interface components, the functions of various workspaces, and the help features of the IDE. This course also describes how to use the Sun ONE Studio 4 IDE to develop Java technology applications.

Students need access to the Sun ONE Studio 4 IDE and NetBeans open application programming interfaces (APIs) to take this course.
