VERITAS File System 3.4 Fundamentals

The VERITAS File System 3.4 Fundamentals course provides students with a web-based training providing instruction on fundamental operational management procedures for VERITAS File System (VxFS). This is the first in a two-part eLearning series on VERITAS File System. In this training students learn how to install a VERITAS File System, use basic file system commands, and perform online administration using VERITAS File System administration tools. Methods for controlling user access through quotas and access control lists (ACLs) are also covered.

Students acquire a solid understanding of basic file system administration and how to implement VERITAS File System in their environment.
