The Sun Open Net Environment Sun (Sun ONE) Directory Server: Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Concepts web-based course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of LDAP directory services. The course begins with a description of directory services and the components of the LDAP protocol. This includes examples of LDAP operations. The Sun ONE Directory Server and its key features are then introduced. The course continues with an overview of the LDAP Software Developers Kit (SDK) and concludes with tips for developing LDAP applications.

This course requires Flash and JavaScript.

This course is designed to be viewed with Netscape Communicator 4.7.
