 Course Description
    Course Outline/Details

The iPlanet Directory Server 5.0 Installation and Administration course teaches the differences between the 4.x version of the product and the 5.0 release. It takes the student through a detailed procedure that teaches them the fundamentals of installing the product on Solaris systems. Finally, it guides students through basic administration processes such as using the console and managing server logs. While designed primarily as a "Skills Builder" course, this Web-based training also explains how the new release differs from the previous version of the product and details migration procedures. Students can proceed at their own pace to complete the course in a 2-4 hour time frame. At the end of the course, students can take a quiz and earn a certificate of achievement.
