Sun ONE Calendar Server 5.x: Installation and Configuration

 Course Description
    Course Outline/Details

This web-based course teaches the differences between the 4.x version of the Sun ONE Calendar Server and the 5.1.1 release. It takes students through a detailed procedure that teaches them the fundamentals of installing the product on Solaris systems. An additional hands-on exercise takes students through a simple migration from the previous version of the product to the latest version. Finally, they are shown simple administration processes such as setting basic configuration values and changing the user interface of the Calendar Express. Students can proceed at their own pace to complete the course in a 2-4 hour time frame.

This course requires the JavaScript programming language. Style sheets and JavaScript should be enabled in the browser.

This course requires the Macromedia Flash 4 (or higher) player. Click here to test if you have Flash.

ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

The course is designed to be viewed with Netscape Communicator 4.x. Students need a color monitor with at least 800 pixels resolution and with Internet access (ability to reach http://www.sun.com).
